Vince Dooley is one of the most respected figures in college athletics, known not only for his legendary coaching career but also for his unwavering commitment to character, leadership, and community service. In partnership with the Georgia High School Association, Athletes for a Better World created the Vincent J. Dooley Award to honor his legacy. The Dooley Award is presented annually to high school seniors in Georgia who exemplify excellence both on and off the field through distinguished character, outstanding teamwork, and dedication to citizenship. This award is unique because every high school in Georgia is invited to recognize athletes who embody these values, inspiring a new generation to pursue success with integrity and a spirit of service.
