William and Kate have a baby son, George. How is that like the Code? The first question to figure out is “How is having a new member added to the family like a sports situation?” The answer then becomes more clear: we add and lose members of our team all the time. How do we react if a new person joins who threatens our position? Are we happy for the team? How do we feel when a player graduates or is injured and has to leave the team? This fall all teams will be re-constituting themselves with new players coming in and voids left by those who have gone. What is the team leadership? Who has gone and who may come, or who may emerge from those who remain? The Code says, “I will be a positive influence on the other members of my team.” Kate and William are going to have to make a lot of adjustments in their new family team, how will you respond to the new challenges of your new team?
