Athletes for a Better World (ABW) is thrilled to announce the top 10 male and female finalists for the prestigious Vincent J. Dooley Scholarships!
These exceptional student-athletes represent the very best of Georgia High School athletics, excelling in their chosen sports and demonstrating outstanding character, teamwork, leadership and commitment to their communities.
The Vincent J. Dooley Awards & Scholarships, named after legendary University of Georgia Coach Vince Dooley, recognize graduating high school seniors who exemplify the ideals of “winning more than the game.” Each year, every Georgia High School is invited to nominate one male and one female athlete for the Vincent J. Dooley Award. School recipients are then eligible to compete for the Vincent J. Dooley Scholarship, a four-year, $1,000 per year scholarship, and a $500 grant to donate to their favorite charity.

The Vincent J. Dooley Scholarship Male and Female recipients will be announced at a special awards ceremony on Saturday, May 4th, 2024.
All the Finalists and Award winners will be honored at the event and receive their awards.
Barbara Dooley, Tony Barnhart (CBS Sports), Dr. Robin Hines (GHSA), and Tommy Marshall (GIAA/GISA) will be there to address all of the winners and their families and deliver their inspiring words and recognition.
Heather Catlin, from Chick-fil-A and former anchor at WSB-TV, will be our Master of Ceremonies.
